Cannot connect with Dreamweaver or FTP Surfer

I enter the ftp address, user name, log in as instructed, but the software is unable to connect to the server.

When I log in through an internet browser, I have no problems. Please advise.

Make sure your connecting details are correct, try using passive mode in Dreamweaver.
