i m sharing my hosting account with a friend. i have gotten her login name and password to access the account. now i am try to create a cgi guestbook, i have upload the files that i need to the server and have set the apporiate premission number (i can upload successfully and i know the account do support cgi); however, after i upload it and done it all...the cgi page couldn't access.
when i type the url on IE such as: http://mydomain.com/cgi-bin/guest.cgi
this page couldn't access and cannot find, it said i don't have the premission to access this /cgi-bin/guest.cgi page...ask me to contact the orginial mydomain.com
but when i try to upload a pic into the cgi-bin folder, it shown and the url work on IE (http://mydomain.com/cgi-bin/01.jpg)....can anyone tell me why the cgi page is not working??????? i have tried so many times with all other cgi files, but still happen the same..........................................
