Can't browse to IP address

Guys.

Just started with DA and at the mo, its all a bit new!

I have added IP addresses to the server (well VPS) and that went okay, I then added a reseller which also went okay - email was dispatched no worries.

BUT - until the nameservers etc go through, I thought I could browse to the site using the IP address.

When I type it in a browser window I get page cannot be found :(

Cannot even ping the IP address!!

Any suggestions very much appreciated!

From Admin level:

Admin tools -> IP Management

each IP went in on its own with a mask of 255.255.255.0

The IP addresses are listed and I can assign nameservers etc to them, just can't ping / connect!!

do you own those ips? did your datacenter allow to use the ones you added? I would contact your DC.

In the end it appears that there was a problem with Virtuozzo.

The guys who I have the VPS with have now sorted the problem!!

Just glad to know it wasn't me messing the IP additions up as I am a DA newbie!
