can't login after yum update

i did yum update yesterday, followed by server reboot, but now i can't even login.

ssh root account says access denied for my password
ftp is not running
DA is not running

all i see is "NOC Monkey recovery" login screen instead of my websites, but I don't know the password.

anyone can help?
