Recently I have not been able to send email, using Outlook 2003. I can recieve fine. Email are stuck in my Outbox. After every attempt, I get an error message that goes like this,
Task 'XXXXX - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

All other internet browsing is fine.

I've checked my settings and even refreshed the settings by using the Admo "auto" download feature on my Admo email setup page.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you using a DirectAdmin control panel? If not, then this may be the wrong place to be asking your question.

Generally if you can't send email through any server except your ISP, it's because your ISP is blocking outgoing email. The first thing to do is generally contact your ISP. If you write back here you'll need to include your smtp server details or we won't be able to help you.

Another option that I just had to help a client with (using an ISP that won't allow port 25 sending) was to use the port 587 for SMTP. Of course the server will need to be setup to do 587 sending, but by default exim from DA is (now the firewall might be a different story).
