I'm getting into a problem and being newbie with this, (1rst time install) i need some help in solving those...

A client of mine, asks me to have access to an image on https:// for an image he has...
Up to that no problem...

SSL activated on account, file in private_html... all ok
i can even call that image normally.

My problem is when i call image, i have a security warning with following details :
- certificate made by a company in which you have not confidence
- certificate expired
- certificate name not the same as sitename

when going on advanced details i get the following :
delivered to : snakeoil.com
delivered by : Snake Oil CA
valid from : 21/10/1999 to 20/10/2001

etc...

Why do i get this ??? How do i set up my own private certificate??? how can i apply certificate on the server when ip's are already used ???

Thks for your help

The default certificate is a self-signed certificate and will ALWAYS pop up with a security warning.

You would do well to contact Jeff Lassman, he will be able to help you further (both with a valid certificate and how to install it).
