Dear all,

I am totally new to DA. Now I am facing the problem of DA port. My university blocks nearly all ports except normal surfing. So, I would like to change DA to be able to access from normal surfing (port 80). When I searched about this, I found this one.

http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=84

It says that I need to change my apache config to be able to use proxy because mine is custom build. Being newbie, I am not able to locate configuration files and places. So, anybody would like to give me the detail instructions how to change it. Thank you so much.

Best Regards,
Alex

Well, the link you posted is the one you need, will make a proxy on apache that will redirect request directed to cp.yourdomain.tld:80 to the :2222 so you will be able to log in it.

That guide is pretty detailed, also with paths, so, where you cant find files?

Regards

You knew how to use ssh prior to ever purchasing a server right?

Sorry. I just read carelessly. Actually I couldn't find apache configuration file which is meant for custombuild one as preparation. :p

Actually there is already a link which shows the way to recompile and add mod. Sorry for giving troubles.

Have a nice day.
