changing root domain path from public_html to different

how can we change the domain root path from public_html to /public or anything for specific domain as it need for some Laravel projects. I don't see HTTPD editable with vhost config file.

That seems to work but strange that the path redirect me differently each time. I am here https://server:2222/evo/admin/custom-httpd and when i select example.com nginx.conf php-fpm.conf (8.2) file i get redirect to these URLs. where last one is the correct.

https://server:2222/evo/admin/custom-httpd/php-fpm/admin/8.2

https://server:2222/evo/admin/custom-httpd/php-fpm/admin/8.2/global_custom1

https://server:2222/evo/admin/custom-httpd/domain/example.com/nginx
