Unfortunately, I couldn't find the right answer on Google, so let's give this a try.

At the moment, .eml attachments are not allowed by our servers. Every single on of them runs ClamAV and the proper configuration within Exim. Within this configuration, only the bat:com:pif:prf:scr:vbs extentions are blocked within exim.conf.

Am I overlooking something?

Interesting since file extensions are not blocked within exim.conf but system_filter.exim. File extensions are blocked in 3 places in system_filter.exim. Have you checked all of them?

Also it would be useful if you posted the error message instead of your interpretation of what might be happening.

I never knew about those files *ashamed*. Hence I didn't know Exim blocked it and not ClamAV. Exim's configuration gets me confused quite frequently, heh.

Anyway, thanks for the pointer.

getUP (and others), when posting lists delimited by the : character it's probably a good idea to disable smilies to make the list easier to read :).
