Configuring E-Mail Account in Thunderbird

Hello all,

I have been attempting to configure my email address, [email protected], to work with Thunderbird.

I seem to have everything correct except for the Outgoing Server.

I have tried every different way that I could think of as far as settings, but it still will not work.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

If your outgoing server isn't working it's probably because your ISP is blocking port 25 for outgoing email. You can try post 587; ISPs aren't supposed to block that port, and providers are supposed to allow it. By default DirectAdmin servers to allow submission of email on port 587. If that doesn't work, then contact your hosting provider or use your ISPs outgoing email server.

Thank you for your response. However, I was unable to get my email account to work correctly. I will attempt to contact my hosting provider.
