Hi,

I have a few customers that have 500+ emailaccounts.
The interface of DirectAdmin is very poor to manage this.

What my customer need to do is to create groups, where they can assign mailaccounts to. When they delete an emailaccount, the should be removed from all the groups.

A group can be an email and can be used to email to.

Is there a solution for this within DA?
Perhaps there is another interface for this with Exim or am I missing something that i didn't notice in DA so i can solve this problem?

All suggestions are welcome, so i don't have to program this...

Thanks!!

Let me give you an example of the problems with DA and managing email.

For example:

Create emails:
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

Create forwarders:
[email protected], with [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]
[email protected]. with, [email protected], [email protected]

Problems with DA:
1) Now [email protected] user will be deleted, DA will not delete the forwarders from group. Now think in 1000 of email accounts and lots of forwarders.

2) Sometimes you would like to make an note with an emailuser; for password, things you discussed with this person, etc.

3) You would like to get an quick overview; for example; give me everything where [email protected] is registered in (email accounts and forwarders). Also i would like to have some delete actions here.

These 3 options are common things for administrators that need to manage emailaccounts.

So my question is; is there a smart solution for this on the internet? Or do i need to program an interface for this myselve trough an api of DA?
