Copy all accounts + config from 1 disk to another

I have a full and working DA install on 1 disk and I want to transfer all settings + aacounts to another disk where a fresh DA is installed.

How will i do that?
 
Backup and restore is probably the easiest. Note that DNS zone files are not restored but rather created on the new system.

Thing is I cannot create backups for the old system since my Da works on the new install. I only have the data.
 
I'm sure if you write John / Mark are support AT directadmin DOT com they can issue a temporary license for you.

Alternatively there are lots of files and directories to copy and I'm not sure that copying the fiels might not break something in your DA install on the new harddisk.

I've not seen a script, there are several posts around these forums with what you should copy but I don't believe there is a complete script.
