Could backup storage not be counted in quota ?

I notice some of my users do not create backup, since it would lead their storage to be over quota.

I would like the backup storage space not to be counted is account quota, in order to induce my users to use more regularly their own backup possiblity, and therefore avoid unnecessary restore request at reseller level.

Does it make sense ? Is there a way to take this aspect into account ?

You might regularly create backups on admin/reseller level then
In order to exclude user level backups from counting, you might use mount --bind and another storage for backups.

It's not make sense. If don't have any quota calculate on those backup storage, user might create, create, create and your disk storage will full with non-sense backup.
