Hello,

I have 4 free dedicated IPs, and want to add for my reseller, but dont know how to add it. I go to IP management, assign IP to reseller account, but cannot have them owned. the status is still free.

At reseller level, I can create end-user account with dedicated IP, but how to create reseller account with dedicated IP at admin-level?

Please help.

thanks

An owned IP can only have 1 user; if that user happens to be a reseller, you can just assign the IP to him, and he can choose either to own that IP (for himself) or share that IP.

http://admin.site-helper.com/ipman.html
"Owned IPs
An owned IP is an IP address allocated to one User only. For example, our Reseller (hostco) owns 66.51.122.133, which is the IP address of his main web site (remember that Resellers are also Users). You can think of owned IP addresses as dedicated or static IP addresses."

thanks Eric. But how can I have that reseller own that IP himself? because reseller is also user, right? but I dont see any option to do that :(

You need to modify his user data instead of his reseller data.
Try this:
http://yourdomain:2222/CMD_MODIFY_USER?user=his_username
