Critical PHP updates

New DA build is released to current and stable release channels. They bump PHP 8.5, 8.4, 8.3, 8.2 to latest version, and adds patches for PHP 8.1, PHP 8.0 and PHP 7.4.

To upgrade immediately please use commands:
Code:
da update
da build php

DA will auto update by itself, but PHP upgrade needs to be triggered manually (unless CB cron feature is enabled).

./build update

sed -i 's/php85:8.5.11:/php85:8.5.12:/g' versions.txt
sed -i 's/php84:8.4.26:/php84:8.4.27:/g' versions.txt
sed -i 's/php83:8.3.35:/php83:8.3.36:/g' versions.txt
sed -i 's/php82:8.2.34:/php82:8.2.35:/g' versions.txt

./build php

That worked, thanks!

da build update
da build versions

Still shows PHP 8.5.11. How to proceed? Is forcing with sed really necessary?

Edit: Never mind, it works now.

After the DA update on stable channel also a 7.3.33 > 7.3.33* PHP update shows up. What is the meaning of the asterix (*). Is this perhaps a by DA back ported version of 7.3.33?

The versions with * symbol means PHP version is the same, but we added new patches for that particular PHP release.

Note: we have noticed PHP 8.1 does not build cleanly on some systems with the latest patch.

@traskowski if you have custombuild/patches/php-7.4/143-php-7.4-cve-2026-109618.patch file present and CB does not show update for PHP 7.4 it means you are up to date.

So can you confirm 7.3 is also patched? Because you didn't mention this version in your post. BTW thx for the quick response @fin

Getting this issue with PHP 8.1 build on one of my servers, any ETA for a fix?
