Solved DA 1.712 Lost Custom DOCROOT

My custom DOCROOTs are no longer recognised, they have been working fine for years but suddenly showing 404 errors. Only main domains are affected, the custom subdomains are still fine.

/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/custom/virtual_host2_secure.conf:
|?DOCROOT=`HOME`/domains/`DOMAIN`/site|
|?REALDOCROOT=`HOME`/domains/`DOMAIN`/site|

# sudo apachectl configtest
AH00112: Warning: DocumentRoot [/home/jim/domains/mydomain.com/public_html] does not exist

It seems to be defaulting to 'public_html' instead of the custom 'site' directory.

where you can find such line:

"The tokens REALDOCROOT and PUB_DOCROOT are completely removed."

Removing the REALDOCROOT line from virtual_host2_secure.conf makes no difference.

Did you doe a da build rewrite_confs after removing the realdocroot line? Might be worth a try if you didn't.

Yes I did that, it updates and restarts apache etc

DOCROOT become internal token that can't change anymore, except only do this via customize httpd Config page in "CUSTOM" section
