Okay, so here's a head scratcher that's taken me a long time to figure out:
I migrated a DA user account to another server. Most things went right, some went wrong (MySQL database users didn't come along) but were easy to fix. One thing that didn't work was the user's cron jobs. I checked everything I could find on the subject (and that's a lot), but to no avail. The strange thing was, that executing the raw commands from the command line worked fine, they just didn't fire from the DA cron job entries. For testing purposes, I created a new cron job, and that ran fine too!
As it turns out, the cron jobs only run when edited and saved. I say: duh!?
Can anyone shed a light on this one?
