DA failed to compile dovecot

Hi all,

CustomBuild listed dovecot updatable from 2.3.21.1 to 2.4.1-4 (and also dovecot.conf, lego, exim.conf and php).

Trying to update dovecot failed in the configuration phase with:
configure: error: Can't build with PAM support: libpam not found
doDovecot: failed to compile '/usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/cache/dovecot-2.4.1-4.tar.gz' inside '/usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/tmp/tmp.Vc8wYYtOQq.dovecot-2.4.1-4.tar.gz'

I's apparently missing libpam. I'm running AlmaLinux 9 but when I do dnf list available|grep pam I don't get any libpam, so how do I get it? And shouldn't this have been handled by DA?

This is my repolist:

I saw I had a pending kernel update, so I updated that and rebooted the VPS. Now dovecot build works (well it's still running ATM). Don't know if that was to be expected.

Proceeding with fingers crossed.

Everything works fine now.
