DA login

Not sure if this thread is in the right place, but...when i try to login to my DA control panel, the page simply refreshes. it doesnt log me in. Whats the deal?

Chances are a wrong username or password.

Is it the control panel for your website?

If so you'll need to contact your hosting provider and get them to confirm things for you.

But wouldn't that produce the "Invalid Signin" or whatever error?

Are you sure cookies are turned on in your browser?

Hi

I *think* DA runs off session cookies if anything - so they would only be valid if you'd logged in (which they haven't) and an incorrect username or password will return the user to the login page with the message Invalid login. Please verify your Username and Password - maybe jchxc could indicate if they see this or not?

Unless of course they are attempting to login through a script on their hosting companys page and the hosting site has the fail_URL setting in the form set to the login page in which case the message wouldn't get shown

I suspect that you're simply entering the wrong password.

You need to contact your hosting company and they can reset it for you.

Just to make sure are you trying to login via insert-your-full-domain:2222 ?

It is for a website im doing. My boss bought a domain through 101sitehosting, and they sent us an email with all of the login info, and how to use it. I followed the instructions, but just keeps refreshing.

Have yo ucopy and pasted it into the password box to make sure theres no typos?

hmm - if your domain has resolved (ie you can see it if you type it in your browser) then try yourdomain:2222

Or maybe theres been an error and your account isn'r set up yet - they are really the only ones who can tell you.

Same issue....

I have the same issue...Just set up an account and was emailed the login info, followed to the letter and the page just refresh's, but does not login. I went to work and tried it on my work computer and it logged right in. I assume it is my system, but do not know where to start checking... Here's what I got:

Windows XP (service pack 2)
1.5 GZ AMD
512 MB RAM
Internet Explorer version 6.0
Firefox browser (tried it in this to, but no go)

Would this be a browser setting or an Operating system setting. I have cookies enabled along with session cookies.

OK, i dont know what the problem is with it, but AOL seems to be blocking access to the DA page. I tryed using IE, and it worked. thanks for helping

A good lesson there - I never use AOL for anything ever
