CheapDemos site down?

I've been trying to get to cheapdemos.com for the past day or two and it seems to be down - i can't get to it. It is me, or is everyone else having the same problem?

Amazing, a business that caters to webhosts, and this guy doesn't have reliable hosting

Chris, from cheap demos sent an email that he would be working on his site, perhaps that is why his site may have been down. He is adding an affiliates program.

Dont mean to threadcrap, but I've been using demos by DEMODEMO for a couple of years - he's the "original" demo maker - might be an alternative to look at also. He's been providing demo scripts at webhostingtalk.com for years, and has an excellent reputation .

Tho, with DirectAdmin and Site-helper, I haven't had the need for DA demos, I might just get them for the enhanced skin.

Demodemo is EXPENSIVE

I like demodemo.com demos also, but the guy at Cheapdemos.com makes demos of similar quality for about 1/3 the price.

Everyone runs into problems from time to time, and when we do, we fix 'em and move on.

It appears that the CheapDemos site had some problems over the weekend while the webmaster was working on it. It appears to be up again now.

Heck, could happen to anyone.

In fact, it happened to us this weekend; one of our nameserver was hit by a very weird routing problem and was intermittently unavailable to certain areas of the world, and completely unavailable to others, for almost 40 hours. It's been fixed, and it never hurt anyone, because it was a redundant slave server.

But it happened.

Things do happen on the 'net. I hope things never happen to you, and I hope they never happen to DemosDemos.

I also hope the competition supplied by CheapDemos results in better demos, and better prices, in general.

Then we all benefit.

Hey everyone....

Yes, there was an error code....

I just tried to place an order and got the following error:1146 - Table 'cheap_osc.TABLE_AFFILIATE' doesn't exist

The above error might be seen from time to time for the next few days. I am adding an affiliate system to the site. It is has been VERY hard to add into the system.

It will have NO effect on your orders. The error is seen only after the order is placed and payment is made. The error is from an includes statement in the final checkout page which gives the affiliate credit for the sale.

Each and every order is still fulfilled in a timely manner. Even when the order is placed at 3:58:42 AM (my time), isn't that right Blacknight?
