Hello, I hope this post is in the correct area. This is my first post.

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to my question, however I guess im trying to find another option other than going into the data centre.

I have a deb4 box running DirectAdmin 1.35.1 which has been hacked. No ssh access to box is available as sshd has been disabled. Admin user is unable to change/edit files as passwd is not accepted. No other Admin users can be created either which also require ssh access as "Unable to add user to ssh config file: Can't reopen file /etc/ssh/sshd_config for reading: %sPermission denied".

Other than going into the data centre and using console to restore, is there another way in which DirectAdmin maybe able to restore access of which im unaware?

Cheers & thanks for your time.

The data center should offer kvm over ip to give you console access.
