If I install DA on server.example.com , a default zone for server.example.com will be created. Can I delete this zone, and/or move it under my example.com domain since that is hosted on this DA server?

Is it enough to recreate the A/MX/TXT records under the example.com zone?

It was a curiosity earlier, but now it seems to actually be a problem.

What is the right way to have server.example.com hosting the example.com domain? After I install DA, it takes the hostname server.example.com from the DA license. However, I also want example.com to be hosted from this DA instance. After the install, I add the example.com domain, and soon after I can get records to respond to various types of queries, but I always seem to have trouble with server.example.com, the FQDN of my server.

My previous installs which generally worked fine used another FQDN hosted elsewhere, so there was no ambiguity to the zone records.
