cPanel/WHM once had *BSD support, too -- also eventually dropping it.
It's sad that most hosting software companies (read: capitalists) think that if you run anything but Linux, you're an uberleet demigod who can see through the price hikes and stock holder bull. Why cater to the 1% when they're not going to pay $1,399/month for 1 server license in the year 2076.
