DirectAdmin 1.678

Thanks @gate2vn. We usually add automatic migrations to make sure new API endpoints are automatically available if the old ones were available. However there is missing migration that automatically adds access to the search API if user had access to CMD_AJAX_SEARCH. We will add it and release as a hot-fix.

An update to the 1.678 release is pushed out. Key changes:

* Fixed a bug in admin Change Passwords page. It used to load only the first 50 user account names for the user search.
* Extended CustomBuild RoundCube installer to allow customising the ./program directory the same way as it used to be customisable before.
* Add migration to make sure users have access to search API if user had access to CMD_AJAX_SEARCH

After the latest update I'm getting an internal error (failed fetching list of updates) when checking System Packages.

Never mind. a "rpm --rebuilddb" fixed it.

There seems to be issues in many(?) places where settings can be changed. For example giving server a new name.

The issue is that when entering again that page where the update was made - DA shows the oudated info!

Now has to do hard page refresh (reload) to see that the settings were actually changed.

Found out that DA claims that some Databases have more Users associated to a Database than there actually is specified database users in total...

What is going on here?

Feature Request: Hovering over the Users count number/icon should display all the User names associated to that Database.

Yet another bug:

Sorting in File manager not working correctly.

I use this date format: year-month-day (2025-06-14)

When the Date is cliked it SHOULD toggle between newest and oldest and oldest to newest, but now the result is something else..
