We are happy to announce the release of DirectAdmin 1.698.

A full release change log is here:

DirectAdmin 1.698

The update should be automatically available for all installations subscribed to the current release channel.

We appreciate all the feedback on forums and issues reported in the ticketing system.

Thanks!

A new build for 1.698 is published. It includes a fix for DNS management page for admin accounts. Before this fix administrator editing a domain for the user he does not own directly would return an error That is not your domain. The issue was reported via ticketing system.

Hello,

There's a problem in the new /user/domain-statistics area; the size of the frame containing Webalizer and AWStats isn't matching the height of the content:

Suggestion - The usability of the statistics area could be significantly improved by adding a button such as "View stats" instead of a simple link on each domain/subdomain. This would maintain the standard of action buttons (View stats / Usage log / Error log). Our users sometimes have difficulty finding the AWStats / Webalizer statistics because the link on the domain does not clearly indicate that it is for that action.

It would also be excellent if you could update the next build with the current translations.

Thanks @unihostbrasil, a new build for 1.698 is released with two fixes:
  • A height fix for the standard layout for Evolution skin
  • After new certificate is issues the webserver reload instead of restart action will be used.

in last version, admin Usage statistics doesn´t show for example disk quota, space left
information Received / Transmitted

I agree with @infracom2005

Removing the usage statistics from the admin stats section wasn’t a good decision.
Another issue is related to page titles. We use our own custom translations, and for some reason, the titles on these pages are not translatable.

The file system related information can be found in the System Info & Files -> System Information page. Example:

The page User statistics used to duplicate the same information. The page User statistics is focused on the resource usage for users admins or reseller. The general amount of free disk space was kind of out of place there.

We understand the change is a bit frustrating for users who always used the User statistics page to quickly check the disk usage. Please try changing the workflow to look for this info in the nearby System Information. This change (cleaner separation between user and system stats) should make the UI more consistent in the long term.

@Boekel 'super-admin' does not exist on my server, yet i would advise you to update (and reboot) the server, a uptime of 720 days is not normal.
I do also see you only have 4GB of RAM, so i guess you have VPS(?)

@Boekel
You know, admin is not root account, but "admin" still be user itself.

relationship with "admin - reseller - user" still under "admin"
Example: when create the user on "admin2", the user will be under "admin2"

But "admin" still allow to management the Directadmin system, not for "root" permission.

Thank you.
I am an admin without root permissions (we rent VPS servers).
So it is not possible anymore for me to see the usage/disk quota/space left?

I think It depends on which DA License you use. If you have new DA License then you should see your disks on that page when you logged as "admin" user. But if you use old (LifeTime DA License), then it can be the reason why you do not see the disks.
Please check this article for more details:

https://docs.directadmin.com/getting-started/pro-pack/#pro-pack-features

There is such line:

"File System Information" feature which includes information about disks/partitions of your server
