First of all my apologies if this has been already answered on a different post. I was trying to locate the suitable information regarding that but I found contradictory information in different places.
I'm installing latest version of DirectAdmin on my homelab behind NAT and using a Dynamic Public IP address.
My server has (at OS Level) a fixed IP private address.
I have setup externally a dynamic DNS updating my server public FQDN with the valid IP each time it is changing.
When I launch the setup for Directadmin it automatically add my private IP and the current public IP of my gateway to its IP Management list.
With that setup nginx is not starting because each time I run the rebuild the public IP address is added to the virtual hosts.
What is the correct way of setting up this?. I have tried several things such as not associating my private IP address to the device, and linking the public IP address to the private one. However none of them are working.
What is the correct approach for this setup?
