Hi everyone!

We are happy to announce the release candidate for 1.63.6.

This release finally allows switching between ZeroSSL and LetsEncrypt certificates on a per domain basis (in Evolution skin only), it is also important to mention a deprecation of login-key usage counters (and limits) as well as security fixes.

The update should be automatically available for all installations subscribed to the beta release channel.

We appreciate all the feedback on forums and issues reported in the ticketing system.

It is not that that hard to have the selector available in old skins as well by slightly customizing the template file. It all depends on sending acme_provider=zerossl or acme_provider=letsencrypt with the request.

However we are kind of nudging everyone to migrate to Evolution. @Richard G what are the main road-blocks for your users to switch to Evolution skin?

Some translation strings are missing in user/ssl/letsencrypt (BTW: why don't cal it user/ssl/cert) or so.....

In spite of what speed things might show, the Enhanced skin still gives a bit of a faster impression.
Also they like the ease of use of Enhanced, it's simple very easy oversight. I'm now trying with the icon grid which is more cP alike.
Usage overview is better/easier.
Php settings, hard to find (unless using search option), but uses a pull down with only 6 options while in Enhanced skin it has 16 options, that is a very big difference! How can this be fixed?

By the way, I don't see any difference in Pictrogram grid and Hybrid theme option.

Anyway, if it's not that hard to have the selector available in old skins, why isn't it put in the Enhanced skin then? As this is still a supported skin?

Yup we had problems (in the past don't know if still) with some IP related stuff deleting and so on in Evolution. Some ip 's v6 are/is on a user that is not in DA panel , but can't use that ip anymore you don;t see it in DA GUI though old problem no time to solve. more then 6 Montsh ago i did posted this problems in Form but no reaction from DA how to solve. https://forum.directadmin.com/threads/directadmin-1-62-5-has-been-released.64294/#post-334554

And creating domains / users with a subdomain from other user where not allowed then error but the domain and user are created , you can't do anything with them while not in GUI DA , i also posted more then 6 months ago. (partly solved not for that where wrong but for new) to have subdomains creation allowed for other users then domain user only. There is file manager issuse in that version - getting unresponsive, reverting back to .5 solve it

@DanielP , we re-packed RC release to have a fix for non-responsive File Manager.

@Active8, thanks for pointing out translations. We have synced new Evo translations with the translations.directadmin.com system. It will allow new translations to be updated before the final release.

In the Evolution skin all admin and reseller features are merged into a single menu. It seems like there is only Admin and User sections, but admin section actually includes all the actions that Reseller can do.

It seems simpler to have less different views and requires less switching (and knowing at which level feature lives) in Evolution.

No its not 100% the same, example , I do not see the option to restore the backups as reseller , we use that option quit much rather then admin backup/restore. Trough the years we liked that option than admin restore/backup

Cron backups created as Reseller is not visible as Admin, only when you create this as Admin, (old) Reseller backup crons we have created are not visible then.

Does this mean you agree with the arguments I gave? Especially the php options?
And I agree with @Active8 about his arguments.
I myself also use a lot of that reseller backup option. Backupping accounts to my NAS.

When you're in Admin Backup/Transfer it shows you an URL to Reseller-level backups if there are any of them configured.

Evolution has it in multiple places, a widget on the index page, and domain setup page. Enhanced also has it in domain setup page, am I missing something there?

Not sure. As said in Evo I can only see 6 options in enhanced I see 16 options. Where are the other 10 in Evo and why are they not on the same page with the other php options (if anywhere else)?
