Hi everyone!

We are happy to announce the release of DirectAdmin 1.649.

Key features are ability to change license key via GUI and improved licensing error handling. Evolution error reporting. Downloadable MySQL binaries for ARM systems. Lots of smaller fixes and quality of life improvements.

The update should be automatically available for all installations subscribed to the current release channel.

Any chance we could get rid of the boxes around the icons please? in the interface, it makes it look so cluttered. I think it would look much smoother without. Or is there a way to make the lines the same colour as the background please?

also is there a Wordpress for the 'admin' where we could see all installs and manage updates from 1 screen please?
 
There seems to be a bug with CustomBuild and ionCube when you use a PHP version that is not compatible with ioncube.

I have PHP 8.2 as default and PHP 8.1 as second since I need php 8.1 for my billing software.
I have also set ioncube to yes since ioncube is a required extension by my billing software.

When I install ioncube after setting it to yes, it install on PHP 8.1 just fine. (And not on PHP 8.2 since ioncube is not compatible with PHP 8.2 yet.)
After it successfully installs, I still get a update for ioncube from version 0 to 12.0.4

Thanks @realcryptonight, this issue is not specific to DA 1.649 release. It is already present in DA 1.648, we will most likely address it in DA 1.650 with an updated CB ioncube installer.

@akadi81, could you please open a support ticket. We would like to ask for access to the server to investigate this issue. Thanks.
 
You can easily roll back using commands da config-set update_channel stable followed by da update.
 
When updating DA, mod_lsapi is not updated

Thanks @Copra.This error is caused by a failed migration of Evolution color customization. For the time being we have stopped automatic new version roll out and will resume once the automatic migration for old color format is fixed.
 
An update is released to fix evolution Cannot use 'in' operator to search for 'primary' in undefined issue.
 
Thank you for the quick fix. Error is gone and it is working now.

Because DA entered wrong version in versions.txt. You can either manually change to 1.1-67 in versions.txt or wait until DA updates the file.
 
hi.

small bug in the Italian version, the server startup time is not shown. The bug is in the updates screen.

An update is released:
  • CloudLinux confirmed lsapi 1.1-66 had issues, so we rolled it back to 1.1-65 and will jump on 1.1-67 once it is fully released. Thanks @copernic, @paulonichio.
  • Silenced the message Removed symlink /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/da-popb4smtp.service., it was harmless, but we are better without it. Updater script treats any output update.sh script output as a warning. Thanks @MackSix, @paulonichio, @cjd.
  • @41279 translations can be fixed in the https://translate.directadmin.com system, but since this was trivial change (for someone not speaking Italian) I have included translation fix into the release as well.
