disable create accounts with special characters

I have a server where several clients are hosted, some of them have created email accounts with special characters (for example, the ampersand &), I need DA to not allow the creation of accounts with these types of characters, is there an option that can be disabled?

I did not find such a feature in DirectAdmin. You might try and achieve the desired using POST/PRE hooks in DirectAdmin.
