been trying to assist SeLLeRoNe, he gave me user login for his server
1-there are No styling to all pages Except the File Manager page,but there is No header
2-I found and applied the css using FF developer tools to Dashboard page and it came back Except for the header
I can use the css for any page and it will show, Except the header (top banner)

the menu on the test site does not have the sidebar menu either, just the main content so now Im thinking the js isnt being loaded either

so is it something to do with the header not being passed to the browser?
no custom logo has been added
this is run in http and not https, is there some reason why that would be trouble?

Can you please send me a PM of a screenshot with the error you are seeing. And also if you can tell us if you used custombuild to update php. We are seeing the same problem when not using custombuild.

Yes, i'd use CB to update PHP, i'll send you a PM with server access so you can check yourself, is a test-box, so, no problem for me ;)

Please try to use ioncube_loader_5.3.so (change link in php.ini) and tell us if that resolves the issue. We have not been able to replicate the issue. Tried with various ioncube versions. All working well.
 
Tryed, and nothing changed except a new error line at the top of the page:

Site error: the file /usr/local/directadmin/data/skins/CyberAdmin/include/functions.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.5.so to be installed by the website operator. If you are the website operator please use the ionCube Loader Wizard to assist with installation.

It's something to do with the enconding at ioncube's site. We're trying diffeent settings this time which might be more compatible with a more up to date system.

so the reason the file manager for user wont have a header?
seems the only page that it was missing along with the top menu?
was this intentional?
only link was for 'DashBoard'

Hello AndyII,

That's not a issue with our skin. That is a limitation of DirectAdmin's skin platform. We cannot execute php in certain places, and that's one of them. This has happened with all other skins, like Capri. Cheers!
 
Why even waste time with ioncube. You know that can easily be decoded right?

First of all, I really like the skin. It's the first skin of many that is easy to use, works with plug-ins (CSF, Installatron, ...). Thank you.
Also the first skin I think that loads perfectly when switching between enhanced and the skin (without having to force refresh to load the correct css)

Now, as a token of appreciation, here is my preliminary list of small but fixable errors:

Edit user in Opera (Uses Chrome engine)

Open User from User List, Click on "List Users" in the right hand menu.

Bottom of the admin page. Backups and Manager Plugins have the same icon "System Backup Logs".
I think the icon should be orange to match the backup icons.
I also have the licensing icon underneath the other icons. The 2nd Plugin icon is "CustomBuild Plug-In"

User Page, When a domain is selected, in the right hand menu, the hover toolbox shows "MySQL Management" on the W icon (File Manager)

User Page, When a domain is selected, please make the text underneath the icons bigger. More like the text on the first row "New Account, New FTP, ...".
For the admin lists, this small font is ok.

Please let us specify the webmail url, or at least use https://host/webmail as default url

Admin Backup, is it possible to open the "Read this document first" link on a new web page? (What do others think about this?)

On the Reseller page, please add a space between the number and "MB". Is it possible to show GB if applicable?

Firstly, thanks for the heads up.

Most of the people here have been in the business for quite some time. I'm convinced a lot of people here have also read that rumor, or even seen some cases where an project was decoded.

But isn't pretty much everything decodable?

I don't consider using Ioncube a waiste of time. I think it's appropriate for the use we are giving it. Perhaps you mean Ioncube is not appropriate instead of a waiste of time? If someone wants to spend time trying to hack a license that cost 19€ / year, I think 'that' would be more of a waiste of time. If you had that kind of knowledge you wouldn't be trying to hack a skin for DirectAdmin you'd probably be busy doing serious work.

I think Ioncube is a great tool, it's really fast to encode stuff, too.

ioncube is not a total waste of time :) like a lock on the door, keeps the honest people, honest.
but all in all ioncube does tend to slow things down a bit, so when you encrypt, you only do the necessary?
a main file or 2?
I noticed some slows and not sure if its a combo of ioncube and or graphics plus adding ssl?
 
In case anyone was curious, CMD_FILE_MANAGER is chrooted when it runs things.
As such, DA does it's best to pre-run the skins and php code before the chroot happens (before any User action), but once chrooted, you can't run php anymore.. as it would be looking in /home/user/usr/local/bin/php (add a binary there, with libraries, if you really want.. but isn't likely going to be an option).

If your php script is smart enough, it could be predictive as to what it should do, based on the input (depending on what it is you need to do).... and output the correct things in it's pre-run call... but that may not be possible for some cases.
