Disk Usage Discrepancy

Hi, when looking at current disk usage for a user or even for the entire system I find that it is very low. Webalizer shows 3523.71 but directadmin shows 6.82 and this is after several days and trying to update it manually. Also I know that there is at least 3gigs of data on the account because I put it there.
Please help,

Perhaps because no one knows? Or perhaps because this has been addressed many times on these forums. Please search.
