DNS Change Not Propagating After 3 Days

Hello everyone,

I hope this message finds you well. I am experiencing an issue with my .be domain (zenrestaurant.be) that I recently purchased from Domain Masters. Three days ago, I changed the nameservers to point to SiteGround as part of my server migration. However, I am still seeing the old website, and the status indicates that the change is still "in process."

Here are the details of my situation:

  • Domain Name: zenrestaurant.be
  • Nameservers Changed On: 07-07-2025 at 08:29
  • Current Nameservers: ns1.siteground.net, ns2.siteground.net
I understand that DNS changes can take some time to propagate, but three days seems a bit excessive. I am concerned that there might be an issue preventing the update from taking effect.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? What steps should I take to resolve this? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Looks like it's fixed everything working correctly at the moment including DNS and nameservers.
I know it's rare but domain registrars can suffer problems here and there and have to involve 2nd level support. One of my domains was playing up a week or so back as the DNSSEC wasn't applied properly at the registrar. They had to reset some sort of link between themselves and the .uk namespace Nominet to get it all working again.

Actually Not yet. It still pointed at the domainmaster DNS servers. I want the nameservers pointing to Siteground DNS (as the picture shown.)

Update:I got the reply from domainmaster support. Something security check is in processing. I've never met such case before.

Hello,

I wonder, how could you do it, if the domain according to public data was registered on Mon Apr 11 2016 and the domain registrar is Key-Systems GmbH.

Domain: zenrestaurant.be
Status: NOT AVAILABLE
Registered: Mon Apr 11 2016

Do they offer an auction of domain names? I guess not, if to consider their reply to your ticket. So it must be either a mistake or fraud from their side.

To clarify, I really didn't purchase this domain name, the domain owner was not happy with his current online food ordering site and commissioned me to redesign and maintain his food ordering site. So I redesigned the site using Siteground servers, and now it's time for the domain to point to SG servers, but it's delayed to take effect.

Really sorry for the mistakes.

Then you should update nameservers at Key-Systems GmbH, unless Domain Masters are their partners in terms of registering domains.

You should contact the domain owner, and let's him confirm/verify to domainmaster by using his email.

Yes. It works. After domainmaster confirmed with the domain owner, it has successfully pointed NS to siteground's servers! Thanks from China. Bro
