OK Folks Question:
I have a website that is being hosted on our servers. I use the typical setup, with nameservers configured on DA as well as other DNS - standard setup.
Now, the site in question is alive and well, HOWEVER, I now want to point it to a mirror site of a company that we partnered with. So, they say to set the A record in DNS to point to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx which I have done.
I left the mail records and such alone. Now to the part I am curious about.
I am assuming I will have to wait for this change to resolve because I still see the site on my servers. Is this correct?
Also, with it being setup this way, will this in fact resolve to the new website with my mail still coming to the current server?
