Hello, I have been using DA for many years now and started with one domain with the admin account, then created my reseller and have been adding users via my reseller.

A few months back I changed the domain to my new address (42L.com) however, the Admin account still has the old domain (Data-Donkey) hehe, so when I get admin emails it sends me a url with the old domain (Data-Donkey) which does not resolve anymore.

Will I be safe to remove that domain from the Admin account since its the only one that Admin account uses?

** Also, I have been getting this message:

Your hostname, server.data-donkey.com, and the servername you have set in DirectAdmin, server.42l.com, do not match. It is recommended that these two values are the same.

Solution:

Either change the servername in DirectAdmin or run the 'hostname.sh' script via ssh to change your hostname
I have already tried using the hostname.sh command
Thanks!

hostname.sh should be able to fix the error you are receiving. Also you should just delete the old domain from the admin user. It is not required to have a domain.
