Na een crash lukt het me niet meer het e-mailadres dat is ontleend aan mijn website te installeren. De melding is:
Kan niet beveiligd communiceren met peer: aangevraagde domeinnaam komt niet overeen met het certificaat van de server.
De Configuratie behorend bij smtp.xxxx.nl m oet gecorrigeerd Worden.
Op de laptop van mijn vrouw zie ik dat de server met certificaten is beveiligd. Ik zou graag willen weten hoe ik dat in mijn account zou kunnen instellen.

After a crash, I am no longer able to install the email address taken from my website. The message is: Cannot communicate securely with peer: requested domain name does not match the server's certificate. The Configuration associated with smtp.xxxx.nl must be corrected. On my wife's laptop I see that the server is secured with certificates. I would like to know how I could set that up in my account.

Dit is eigenlijk een support forum voor Directadmin admin's en resellers, niet voor hosting klanten. ;)

Does your wife uses the same domain name?
If yes, check her settings. It might be that the smtp must not be smtp.domain.nl but maybe mail.domain.nl it all depends on how it's configured at the hosting account.
That's why it's best to ask your hosting provider in this case for support.

No problem, no harm done, hope you get it fixed! Otherwise try the Piepcomp.nl forum which is a good Dutch computersupport forum, they can also help with email issues.
