Editing all templates

Okay I want to edit all the directadmin templates tailored to my needs. I only have 1 problem. There are more than 1 template for each service so I would like to know if there is a page for these templates explain which ones are to do what. I edited /usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/httpd_vhost.conf and it didn't edit nothing when I executed echo "action=rewrite&value=httpd" >> /usr/local/directadmin/data/task.queue

Okay I figured it that I needed to edit the virtual_host2.conf and virtual_host2_sub.conf

I guess I need to do the secure vhost next.
