AlmaLinux 8.5 has been released

AlmaLinux 8.5 has been released. I'm guessing we can't use it until DirectAdmin is ready.

How to: inplace upgrade from Centos 7 to Almalinux 8.5

Just converted (in place upgrade) an DA Centos 7 box to Almalinux 8.5 As promised short tutorial that I made, many thanks and credits to @dmtinc to his support, good to mention that I did not had any network problems :) It took almost 1,5 hour on an VPS 6 vCPU and 16 gb of ram so do your math...

It is information of something that many have been asking for a long time, a reliable and safe method to upgrade from 7 to 8.
I don't understand what you mean by those two threads you indicate.

I mean inplace migration was tested and described at this forum more than half year ago, so I think you want to ask something about it and forgot to paste the question, so I provided links where you can find details.
