Email down - "Cannot open the user password file for reading "

The email on our DA server is down this morning. When I attempt to access email accounts through the admin interface I get the message "Cannot open the user password file for reading"

Any idea what would cause this, and what the solution would be?

I appreciate any suggestions....

I'm not sure what you mean by "attempt to access email accounts through the admin interface".

It's possible to lose a file if your partition is full. The first thing to do is check for a full partition. How to replace the file? That depends on which file, which depends on what you were trying to access; see my first sentence above.
