Email errors

Ok there is 2 things really,

1, My server hosts never setup squirrelmail for me, so im left to do it myself,

Now i manage to get it workin to some degree, but i have 1 problems

1, I can send email but not recieve them?
2, I have a email error in my inbox but i cannot read them i get these errors

When sending an email to it

Technical details of permanent failure:
PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 9): 550 <emailaddy>: invalid address

and when tryin to read the error email?

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /var/www/html/squirrelmail-1.4.5/src/read_body.php on line 98

any 1 have any ideas?

Squirrelmail comes with DirectAdmin, so there wasn't anything for your host to setup, if DA was installed properly.

If you set up your own copy of squirrelmail you may have overwritten something.

hey jlasman Thanks for the replys

My host did install it, however i encounted a few problems,

1 being that i got an error with local host 111, so i searched the forums and found the fix for it, however now im gettin these errors,

I have conacted my server hosts and the claim not to deal with 3rd party software, and there wanting to charge me a minimum of 50$ before they even look at the problem,

I don't see any errors in your reply.

Do you mean that they installed squirrelmail separately from the copy installed by DirectAdmin? If so, then my guess is they overwrote something.

Check these forums for information on how to update squirrelmail; that should give you enough information to rebuild it properly.

$50 isn't bad at all. Our minimum is twice that .
