Hi Guys,

I have updated my servers and had made a backup of all users.
Then i installed new OS and Directadmin.
After putting back the users backups i see that we have lost the "personal folders" made in the webmail (roundcube), with emails in it..

does anyone know where in the server the files are placed? en how we can put them from the old server to the new server.

i also mis all the contactlists i have made in webmail..
and also we lost the "auto responds" set for emails..

The autorespond was made on directadmin? If yes thats strange.

Regarding the contact list you need to backup the da_roundcube database and restore it to the new server.

For the custom imap folders i dont know, actually should be updated aswell but not sure.

Regards

@Freak,

That's OK, if "personal folders" still exist in your customer's IMAP directory. You should on per email basis login into roundcube and somehow update the list of folders (add/edit/delete some of them). I've fixed the same some monthes ago, but unfortunately I did not write down the steps I followed.

Roundcube is a well-designed package and it would be great if we could get everything resolved, including working across updates and any other minor issues (does it back up and restore completely)?

zEitEr, how would you like to take on the work? :D

zEitEr,

I've been very busy the last week, and unfortunately I don't remember the details of what I was writing about. If the question comes up again I'll post about it.
