Hello,

I'm just a beginner with servers and directadmin.
I succesfully installed my own vps server with directadmin where i have a reseller with several websites.

First i registered a new domainname and made a new user for that domain on my VPS (like i'v done like a 100 times before....) everything works fine.
Now one of my clients has installed another webserver with directadmin to only host the website. So on my VPS i changed the DNS records so it would show the website on de client server....

So when someone goes to mydomain.com it goes to my VPS but it shows the website on the client's server. Thats great.
But emails send from apache (php) are returning.

I turned of the Local mail server on the client's server, but is seems he still sends mails via server.mydomain.com from that other ip from my client's server
actually i want to use my VPS server for all email handling.

So i have one main VPS directadmin server, and i only want to use the other server to show the website.
What kind of (DNS) settings do i need to do, to get this to work?

Maybe this will offer some help: http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=8

The devil's in the details.. Plenty of people could perhaps tell you very quickly how to get running as you and your client want but they would have to see the details which is easier with real domains and IP.
