email quota problem

I seem to be having trouble with changing the mailbox size for some of my email accounts. While DA says the size has been changed, if I go back in it looks like nothing happened. I tried various sizes.

I take it then there is no resolution? Do I just delete the email accounts and recreate them? Obviously I'd like a solution that doesn't involve losing emails.

Any help would be appreciated

If I change the mailbox size, a screen pops up saying the new size and whether or not I changed the password. The info on that screen are what I want. If I go back to the summary of all mailboxes the size hasn't changed. In another thread I was told to look at a file called /etc/virtual/domain.com/quota. I did that and found many accounts with duplicate info. About 4 for each mailbox. I decided to delete it, and now it is working.
