I have seen this in my friend's email inbox. Is this done by the sender or scan at the server of the reciever?

How can i implement this avg in my system and have the signature like this? and how can it be automated updated? i dont think my friend update it everyday. so i highly thinks its automated update.

usually the anti-virus signature is made by the "receiver" antivirus into client like thundebird and outlook.. if u saw it on a webmail maybe is made from the sende client...

there is in this foruma guide to install clamav for check viruses in email but, as i saw, dont put a signature of scanned from viruses...
