Is there a script of some assortment out there that would allow users to signup for there own email address @mydomain ? preferably just webmail access, but POP accounts will do.

b1g is in german, all the rest cost money, and the remainder are bannered hosted options.

Whether its specific to DA, or generic doesnt matter... as long as its free.

What's the good word out there?

For our email service ([email protected], where example.com is one of our domains) we accept the client info through a form, then setup the user manually.

While it should be fairly simple to program this using the DA API, we like to see who's signing up, and this allows us to look the subscriber's URL manually, since don't allow a user to sign up for us from a free account.

Then study the DA API information and write it yourself...

or place an add under the forum's HELP WANTED section.

:)

And this is the voice of experience writing: expect a lot of fraudsters and spammers if you're not charging money; expect a few phony credit card charges if you are.

And if I may give you a bit of knowledge I've picked up over the years:

If you're accepting credit cards and get chargebacks, just turn off the address and let the chargeback go through; anything else will just cause problems with your merchant account.
