I don't know how you could hide your hostname; I do know that if you do most of us who receive email won't trust your email, as usually it's spammers who want to hide where the email comes from.

I suppose you could forge a different hostname (you'd probably have to use a spammer tool to do this), but then you'd definitely get on blocklists.

I certainly understand that you may want to hide your identity, especially if your resellers complain.

Your best bet may be to create a generic domain and use a generic hostname on your server. You can register the generic domain name as a proxy-registered domain through many registration providers.

We use the namelessnet.net domain for our server hostnames, and if you do a whois you find the following contact information:
