Hi guys,

I am quite noobie in da, and this is the problem i have:
In the DNS handled by da, i have two domain: name1 and name2.
Name1 records are:
Code:
mail	MX	10
pop, mail, smtp in A: to the server where da is

Name2 records are:
Code:
mailprovider MX 10
mail, pop: to the Exchange server

For name1 i've created reseller account and some mail accounts.
I checked the option in Mx Settings:
Use this server to handle my emails.
If not, change the MX record and uncheck this option

The problem appears when i send emails from name1 to name2. The mails are not sent - in webmail i get the message
Code:
It was not possible to send this Email,
Check the Address and Try again.

In squirrelmail i get:
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

I even don't now what to search. Sending/receiving mails from both domain works perfectly (beside the described situation).

In the /var/log/exim/mainlog i can't see anything about this problem.

Thank you in advance!

you still should see a log that the message sent.

Yes, you are right. I missed that when checking the logs. It looks like:

Code:
2009-11-12 22:21:05 H=localhost (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) [127.0.0.1] F=<test@name1> rejected RCPT <xxx@name2>:
2009-11-12 22:21:05 H=localhost (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) [127.0.0.1] incomplete transaction (RSET) from <test@name1>

If you'll post real information, both domain names and IP#s, then maybe someone can help you.

Jeff

Has anyone any clue about it? I can send PM with the real details, but i'd prefer to avoid publishing them in post.

If you'd like to send me information privately I'd be happy to help you, but at my regular hourly rate. Please send me an email (address below in my signlines) for current pricing and other information.

If you'd like me or others to help for free, well, then, we generally like everything to be public on the forums, so they become a learning experience for all of us.

As for me, I'm happy to offer lots of help on the forums as time and resources permit, but I make a living managing, administrating, and supporting DirectAdmin-based systems, so either you accept my free help on my terms (which I don't think too onerous) or you pay me my going rate.

Perhaps someone else will respond, but you already saw floyd's response.

Jeff
