enable file upload

hello,

i'm trying to create a file upload for user to upload their image inside the server or database. the problem is the code is not working. I can't find any problem on the code but instead i've noticed that the server need to give permission on uploading.

the method is to put file_uploads = 'on'; inside the php.ini which supposedly in my public_html folder, but it is not. So, how to solve this? please anyone?

direct admin is the hosting provider. created a ticket but still no answer. would not you know about this matter?

DirectAdmin is a software package used by hosting providers. DirectAdmin's publisher, JBMC, doesn't use a ticket system.

What is the URL of your hosting provider?
