@LawlessBaron:
The problem has already been diagnosed, and a fix has been provided. Is there a reason why you can't perform the fix? If you can't perform the fix then teaching you how is probably well beyond the scope of this forum, as much of it is faith in your own skills and ability to learn and follow instructions you can find in these posts, in links in these posts, and by using Google.
If you can't or won't do these things yourself, and you won't trust hiring someone to do it for you, then that's hardly the fault of DirectAdmin, or an issue for these forums.
And note that if you're renting a dedicated server, you're already trusting someone with complete access to your server, as no password is required for someone with local access to the server and time and knowledge. It's not so much a backdoor, but simply physical access to the unencrypted drives means no security. If it's your server, then unless you hardened it sufficiently before you sent it to the datacenter, then they have access because you probably didn't (a) physically secure it against screwdriver access, (b) set a password protect in the BIOS, (c) set up the server for the provider's network yourself, before shipment, and (d) secure the external access to any USB device or built in floppy, CD, DVD, or BluRay device.
So it's most likely an issue of who you trust rather than trusting nobody. And who to trust is probably beyond the scope of DirectAdmin forums.
So, honestly, please tell me why this thread should remain open.
Thanks.
