Exim does not respond with banner outside...

Hello,

When I want to debug my freshly installed system, I did a telnet to remote:25. But I don`t receive a banner when I`m connecting from a remote machine. He is connected, by I don't get anything as response. When I connect from my locahost, I get the banner as I expected...

I didn't install any firewall yet

Your ISP (your local connection) may be firewalling your connection on port 25.

DirectAdmin's exim.conf file also enables response on port 587.

Try telnetting to port 587 to see if that works. If it does, the problem is with your local ISP.
