Exim error, no mail :(

I get the following error in Exim mainlog:

2004-10-26 22:41:45 1CMY8X-00053N-M7 malware acl condition: clamd: ClamAV returned /var/spool/exim/scan/1CMY8X-00053N-M7: Access denied. ERROR

No mail is delivered at all.

I added the user clamav to the mail group @ /etc/group, but still the same error

How can I fix this error?

When you added clamav to the mailgroup did you restart clamav ? I don't know why it should read out of the spool/exim dir as exim should just send the message to ClamAV (I thought).

Somebody told me a reboot would fix the problem...and it helped

Don't know why...but it works, thnx anyway
